A young dog in a shelter kennel:

  • Heavily medicated

  • Constantly barking

  • Escaping crates and doors

  • Biting the leash and grabbing hands

  • Highly reactive to other dogs

This wasn’t just difficult—it was unsafe. If nothing changed, her future was uncertain.

What We Changed

We taught her to:

  • Regulate her arousal

  • Settle in confinement

  • Interact appropriately with other dogs

  • Play without taking it too far

And yes—

We were able to fully remove the behavioral medication.

The Result

She became:

  • Calm

  • Social

  • Reliable in public

A brewery dog. A companion. A best friend.

She didn’t need to be managed and medicated.
She needed to be understood.
