Board & Train: Immersive Training That Lasts

Our Board & Train program is more than just training—it’s an investment in your dog’s future and your quality of life together. If you’re looking for real, lasting behavior change, this is the most effective and efficient way to get there.
Unlike traditional kennel programs, your dog lives in a home with the trainer. They’re not sitting in a run waiting for a session—they’re actively learning all day, every day, in a real environment that mirrors your own. They go where we go—stores, breweries, hikes, even weekend getaways—building reliable behavior in the real world, not just in controlled settings.
What truly sets our program apart is our flat-rate structure. We don’t put a time limit on your dog’s success. Your dog stays with us until the goals are met—no rushed timelines, no cutting corners. This also allows for proper decompression, which is critical for your dog’s mental health, ability to learn, and long-term success. Many short-term programs skip this step, leading to results that don’t hold once the dog returns home.
While it can be difficult to be apart from your dog, this program is often the best choice for more complex behavioral challenges like aggression or reactivity. These situations require precise handling and timing—how they’re managed matters, and mistakes can set progress back. We take that pressure off you and ensure those critical learning moments are done correctly.
Board & Train is also ideal for busy owners. If you don’t have the time or energy to build behaviors from the ground up, we do that for you. When your dog goes home, you’re not starting from scratch—you’re maintaining and reinforcing behaviors that are already in place.
The Transition Home Matters
Training doesn’t end when your dog goes home—it shifts. Dogs are not robots, and long-term success depends on your ability to communicate and work with your dog just as effectively.
That’s why follow-up lessons are included and required as part of this program. We focus on transferring the clarity, structure, and accountability your dog has learned with us over to you.
This is where your dog learns that the expectations don’t change just because the handler does.
We guide you through handling, timing, and real-life application so you feel confident maintaining the results. Without this step, even the best-trained dog can fall back into old patterns.
Because of the level of care, time, and individual attention each dog receives, this program is intentionally limited. Online booking is not available for Board & Train. We require a consultation process to ensure the right fit and to maintain the exclusivity and quality of the program.
At the end of the day, this is the best investment you can make as a dog owner. You’re not just paying for training—you’re investing in a calmer home, a more confident dog, and a relationship built on clarity and trust.
